Deal Town Football Club is launching a simple new initiative to celebrate the relationship between our club, our town and the local businesses that make Deal such a special place.

Our new ‘Proud to Support Deal Town FC’ window stickers are beginning to appear in shops, offices, pubs, cafés and businesses across Deal and we would love to see many more.

We are asking local businesses and organisations who are proud to support their local football club to show their support and display a window sticker in their window.

Every week, the club brings together hundreds of people from across the local area — players of all ages, families, supporters, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and community organisations.

The club exists within the community it represents, and as a club we are really proud to represent such a vibrant local community and local businesses are a huge part of what makes that community thrive.

By putting a Deal Town FC sticker in your window, you are simply saying:

“We’re proud of our town, and we’re proud to support our local football club.”

We hope that, before long, people walking through Deal will begin spotting the stickers everywhere they go.

And when you do see one, we would encourage our supporters to recognise the business displaying it too. Supporting local businesses and supporting local football go hand in hand.

Over the coming weeks, members of Deal Town FC will be visiting businesses around Deal and offering stickers for their windows.

But we know we won't manage to get everywhere straight away.

If you would like additional stickers for another window, another premises or even to pass on to a neighbouring business that you think would like one, just let us know.

This initiative is simply about bringing the football club and our community even closer together.

Of course, if displaying the sticker sparks an interest in becoming more involved with Deal Town FC, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the season to support the club through sponsorship, volunteering and other partnerships — and we would be delighted to have that conversation.
