DEFENDERS Darren Waring - "MR VERSATILE" played just about every position for the club over the years longest servant for the club which see's him just off the 300 mark for starting appearances, making his debute way back in the 1994-95 season. Josh Davidson - Made his debute on april 2004, and is very strong in a tackle and is comfortable at right back or centre back. Adam Govey - Made his debute in November 2003 from local football and has commanded a place in the backline ever since sees himself abit of striker after playing there for a couple of games and scoring. Dave Bathgate - present captain for the club, and has been with the club since making his debut in November 2003 signing from Herne Bay, Originally signed as a Midfielder he heas been pushed back this season also has an eye for goal with 56 goals from 162 matches. Paul Lamb - Signed from Folkestone Invicta in August 2007, has played for a whole host of senior clubs which include Margate Town In the Conferance League. has added some experience to the young side. Leon Ingram - Made his debute in March 2000 and is also quite a versitile player to have around and probably one of the if not best left backs in the league, other clubs include West Ham United and Whitstable Town. Ian Wallace - the tall centre back can be seen and heard very vocal and good in the air, made his debut august 2006 and has been a fringe player always handy to have in your side. MIDFIELDERS Jamie Marriott - Mazza made his debut for town in april 2000 great either on the right or the middle of midfield scored some important goals from set pieces been in and out of the side this term due to injuries and suspensions. Michael Casser - Cass signed from Ryman Premier side Ramsgate, and started off his Deal career as a left back, but has moved in to the centre of midfield, very strong and frightens alot of oposing players once they have been "Cassed" down. Mark Munday - Munds signed for "Town" in the summer of 2007 a vastly experienced midfileder which has seen him play Conferance football with Margate, and has also play at a high standard for several Kent sides, which saw him playing Ryman Premier only last season with the Rams. Aaron Robinson - Robbo made his debut for the "Town" in September 05 from Ramsgate, a very talented player with quick feet, had a spell at the begining of last season With Margate before returning back to Deal. Danny Smith - Smudger made his debut for the "Town" in August 2003, a very talented player that can change any game with his pace and trickery, was a product of the youth set up, to date he has notched up 169 games scoring 24 goals. Lee Jones - signed for "Town" in the summer 2007, has been very versitile playing everwhere accross the midfield and also playing up front, Derek signed Jonna from Ryman South Whitstable Town, vastly experienced Kent league player that has recovered from career threatening injury. Jack Collins - Another player part of the youth set up making his debut for the first team in August 2006, his best spell was last season has been on the fringes this season with the first team but is still very young lad at 17. Tim Austen - Signed from Dover Athletic in the summer of 2006, made his debut in the December of that season, part of the reserve side, and never lets you down when called upon. FORWARDS Mark Pollard - Polly is one of the most feared strikers in the league, the hard man is known for his aggression, never backs out of a challenge and is good in the air, he was signed way back in 1997-98 season and has clocked up to date 179 starting appearances and 4 as sub, scoring 92 goals. John Utterson - Utts was signed back in the summer of 2005 in his first season he struck 25+ goals, he has had a torrid time last 2 seasons with injuries and fitness problems, still a deadly finisher for the "Town" scoring 38 goals in 61 starting appearances. Roy Godden - The newest recruit signing from local rivals Hythe Town in December 2007, Roy is a natural finisher is always in the hunt for the golden boot award, Del has been chasing him for a number of seasons, now he has got Roy, he hasnt been let down as to date he has scored 5 goals in 7 appearances. Harry Collins - "H" is the twin of brother Jack, has bags of energy and bags of potential, is a regular with the reserve side, and looks certain for a bright future with the club.
